Sixty-seven love letters to our most vulnerable birds

I’m thrilled to be one of 67 writers who, with 67 artists, have contributed to Red Sixty Seven, a book published by the British Trust for Ornithology with the aim of raising awareness and funds to help in the conservation of the 67 rare and endangered birds on the UK’s red list.

I wrote about one of my great loves, the delightful Red-necked Phalarope, illustrated by a beautiful painting by the very talented Darren Rees.
